Microsoft Office 365 - (Outlook) - How to Prevent Outlook from Auto Adding Events to a Calendar

This article will provide steps to stop Outlook from automatically adding meetings to a calendar.

How do I prevent Outlook from automatically adding events to my calendar?

Select File from the main Outlook screen:

 File

Click Options, bottom left of screen:

Once in Options, scroll down to Tracking section and uncheck the "Automatically process meetings requests..." function. This will disable meetings and polls from being automatically added to your Outlook calendar.
