Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project is a project management application. There is both a desktop application version called Microsoft Project, as well as a web version of the app called Project Online.

For more information about the product, see: Microsoft Project

Getting Microsoft Project (Desktop version)

Faculty, staff and students can access the desktop version of Microsoft Project for no cost as part of the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software catalog, which there is a KB for at the following link: Microsoft Software (How to) Access Student Software through Dev Tools for Teaching

Alternatively, Microsoft Project may be purchased for use on University computers. To purchase, sign into the Software Shop and then search for "Microsoft Project." When your purchase is complete, IT staff will contact you to arrange installing Microsoft Project on your University computer.

Note: Licenses to use Microsoft Project are not included in UWM's Microsoft 365 subscription. Obtaining the application from Azure Dev Tools for Teaching or purchasing it from the Software Shop is necessary to use the software.

Getting Microsoft Project Online (Web Version)

Project Online has not been rolled out to campus Microsoft 365 users at this time.
